Mason is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1804 from Kanawha. Mason began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1806, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1803, probate records in 1805, and court records in 1805. For more information, contact the county at 200 Sixth St., Point Pleasant 25550-1131.
