Lenoir is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1791 from the following county/ies: Dobbs. Lenoir began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1791, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1737, probate records in 1869, and court records in 1874. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 3289, Kinston 28501-3289.
