Kootenai is a county in Idaho. It was formed in 1864 from the following county/ies: Nez Perce. Kootenai began keeping birth records in 1907, marriage records in 1881, and death records in 1907. It began keeping land records in 1881, probate records in 1884, and court records in 1881. For more information, contact the county at Government Way, Coeur d'Alene.
