Knox is a county in Maine. It was formed in 1860 from the following county/ies: Lincoln/Waldo. Knox began keeping marriage records in 1859–87 now located at the Maine State Archives. It began keeping land records in 1860, and probate records in 1860. For more information, contact the county at 62 Union St. Rockland 04841. On the attached map, Knox is located at F13.
