King is a county in Washington. It was formed in 1852 from the following county/ies: Thurston. King began keeping birth records in 1891, marriage records in 1866, and death records in 1891. It began keeping land records in 1853, probate records in 1854, and court records in 1864. For more information, contact the county at 516 Third Ave., Seattle 98104-2305.
