Greene is a county in Indiana. It was formed in 1821 from the following county/ies: Sullivan/unorganized (Daviess). Greene began keeping birth records in 1885, marriage records in 1821, and death records in 1893. It began keeping land records in 1822, probate records in 1823, and court records in 1831.
