Gloucester is a county in New Jersey. It was formed in 1686 from the following county/ies: West Jersey Province. The Earliest Land Deed was recorded in 1766/1785. The Surrogate's records begin in 1785/1804. The mailing address of the county Surrogate's Court is 1 N. Broad St. P.O. Box 177 Woodbury 08096-7177. For more information, contact the county at 1 N. Broad St. P.O. Box 129 Woodbury 08096-0129. On the attached map, Gloucester is located at G2. The courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1786.
