I'm  looking for info in country of Lithuania.  How do I get started to find connection of my family tree?  My family on my maternal side came from Kaunas Lithuania and my maternal grandmother was born in Lithuania. How do I get started to make my family tree have a beginning?

I would suggest that you start with yourself. Enter your mother next, then maternal grandmother. You would need an international membership to Ancestry to search in Lithuania. Some libraries have Ancestry Library Edition that includes international records. Or you may be able to do just as welll using their free sister site, FamilySearch.org. Good Luck!

I would suggest that you start with yourself. Enter your mother next, then maternal grandmother. You would need an international membership to Ancestry to search in Lithuania. Some libraries have Ancestry Library Edition that includes international records. Or you may be able to do just as welll using their free sister site, FamilySearch.org. Good Luck!
