Franklin is a county in Washington. It was formed in 1883 from the following county/ies: Whitman. Franklin began keeping birth records in 1891, marriage records in 1890, and death records in 1891. It began keeping land records in 1880, probate records in 1884, and court records in 1874. For more information, contact the county at 1016 N. Fourth Ave., Pasco 99301-3706.
