Fayette is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1824 from the following county/ies: Marion/Pickens/Tuscaloosa. Fayette began keeping birth records in 1884, marriage records in 1866, and death records in 1899. It began keeping land records in 1824, probate records in 1851, and court records in ?.
