Dorchester is a county in Maryland. It was formed in 1669 from the following county/ies: Somerset/ Talbot . The first land deed in Dorchester was recorded in 1669. Orphan Court records begin in 1852. The mailing address for the court's clerk and the register of wills is 206 High St., Cambridge 21613. For more information, contact the circuit county clerk at 206 High St., P. O. Box 583, Cambridge 21613-0583. On the attached map, Dorchester is located at H6. There are gaps in the court records. Some were probably lost in a fire in 1852.
