	Lineal descendants of the land holders in Stephen F. Austin's first colony in Texas, which was founded under the provisions of the 1823 Imperial Colonization Law of Mexico, are eligible for membership. The land holder must have received one of the 297 land titles issued in the name of the Mexican government by commissioners Baron de Bastrop and Gaspar Flores between 1824 and 1828.
