Cumberland is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1856 from the following county/ies: Bledsoe/Morgan/White/Rhea/Fentress/Putnam/Roane. Cumberland began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1905, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1854, probate records in 1904, and court records in 1897.
