Columbia is a county in Wisconsin. It was formed in 1846 from Portage County. Columbia began keeping birth records in 1860, marriage records in 1849, and death records in 1877. It began keeping land records in 1826, probate records in 1847, and court records in 1851. For more information, contact the county at 400 DeWitt St./P.O. Box 177, Portage 53901.
