Cleveland is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1841 from the following county/ies: Rutherford/Lincoln. Cleveland began keeping birth records in 1908, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1792, probate records in 1795, and court records in 1838.
