Clearfield is a county in Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1804 from the following county/ies: Lycoming/Huntingdon. The earliest land deed in Clearfield was recorded in 1805. The earliest wills begin in 1823. For more information, contact the county at 230 East Market St., P.O. Box 361, Clearfield 16830-0361. On the attached map, Clearfield is located at D4. Not organized for judiciary purposes until 1822, Clearfield functioned as a part of Centre County.
