Chittenden is a county in Vermont. It was formed in 1777 from Albany and Washington counties, New York. Land records are available for 1791 from Addison. Chittenden's probate records are available from 1778–present. The probate district address for this county is Chittenden, P.O. Box 511, Burlington 05402.
