Calhoun is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1832 from the following county/ies: Creek cession(Benton, 1858). Calhoun began keeping birth records in 1919, marriage records in 1834, and death records in 1919. It began keeping land records in 1832, probate records in 1891, and court records in 1835.
