Buckingham is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1761 from the following county/ies: Albemarle. Buckingham began keeping birth records in 1869, marriage records in 1784, and death records in 1869. It began keeping land records in 1762, probate records in 1869, and court records in 1868.
