Brunswick is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1732 from the following county/ies: Prince George/Surry/Isle of Wight. Brunswick began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1750, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1732, probate records in 1732, and court records in 1732. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 399 Lawrenceville 23868-0399. On the attached map, Brunswick is located at G7. Authorized in 1720, but the government was not formed until 1732.
