Berks is a county in Pennsylvania. It was formed in 1752 from the following county/ies: Chester/Lancaster/Philadelphia. The earliest land deed in Berks was recorded in 1752. The earliest wills begin in 1752. One can contact the register of wills at 633 Court St., 2d Floor. For more information, contact the county at 633 Court St., 3d Floor, Reading 19601-3594.
