Alger is a county in Georgia. It was formed in 1885 from the following county/ies: Schoolcraft. Alger began keeping birth records in 1884, marriage records in 1887, and death records in 1884. It began keeping land records in 1884, probate records in 1889, and court records in 1885. For more information, contact the county at 101 Court St., Munising 49862-1103.
