Because your contribution furthers the work of many fellow genealogists and enhances our site, we honor your generosity. You may be worried about submitting your family tree to a company that will sell it rather than share it freely with others. That is why we are making the following pledge to you as a contributor:

1. We will not publish your data on CD-ROM. It will be available only on this Web site. Other family tree projects collect freely submitted genealogies only to turn around and sell them for a profit. We will not sell your data in any format.
2. Your file belongs to you. You can update or remove your file at any time.
3. The Ancestry World Tree will always be free.
