Founded in 1733 by the British as a colony for non-Catholics,
Georgia was home to over 2.2 million residents in 1900. This collection
of records contains marriage data from twenty-two Georgia counties between
1851 and 1900. Each record provides the names of bride and groom, marriage
date, and county. It contains the names of over 160,000 men and women.
Taken from existing copies of the original records, this collection
is a useful source of information about Georgia ancestors.
