Dech Name Meaning

German (mainly Palatinate and Baden): from a Germanized short form of any of various Slavic personal names composed with the element teh ‘comfort consolation’ (see Tech ). It was formerly also found among Danube Swabians in Hungary in the region of Bácska which now almost entirely belongs to Serbia.
