Americanized form of Croatian and Slovenian Šiško (see Sisko ) and also an Americanized form of German Schischka which is in turn a Germanized form of Slavic (Czech or Slovenian) Šiška or perhaps of Hungarian Siska . Hispanic (mainly Venezuela): from a short form of the personal name Francisco Latin Franciscus (see Francis ).
