The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania is advertising a five-day course that
"goes beyond the basics." After several successful editions of GSP’s
"Summer Camp for Family Historians" program, which gave genealogists
the chance to research at Philadelphia’s largest repositories of records, the
Society is now planning for the next generation of Summer Camp programming.
This year’s "Summer Camp II: Research Philadelphia!" will provide
opportunities in the wealth of specialty archives and libraries in the Philadelphia
area — ones that will give researchers the chance to put flesh on the bones
of their ancestors.
Summer Camp II will be held 23-27 July 2001. Details are available
at: www.libertynet.org/gspa/AdvSummCamp.htm.
