Dr. David Faris R.I.P.
I am saddened to report that Dr. David Faris died in Philadelphia on 9 March 2001. Dr. Faris was the author of the "Plantagenet Ancestry of 17th Century Colonists," was co-author of "Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700," co-author of "Magna Charta Ancestry," and co-author of "Baronial Ancestry" as well as author of a number of magazine articles.

Dr. Faris held a master's degree and a medical degree from Columbia University and also obtained a law degree from Harvard University Law School. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol; sons Edward, Gregory and Robert; and six grandchildren.
