Encyclopedia Britannica's thirty-two-volume set that normally sells for $1,250 in book form is now online, free to users. The site will be supported by advertisements. It will also carry newsfeeds from newswires and newspapers, a Web directory, and selected articles from more than seventy magazines. The site is at http://www.britannica.com.
