Last October we had a new bride in the family. Since it was the second marriage for both the groom and the bride, they already had lots of stuff. I had been doing lots of genealogical research on the groom's surname, so I gave the new bride a booklet with information of the women who came before her that carried her new surname (Schodde). I ended up with twelve profiles and also enclosed photos of the women. I plan to continue this tradition as we add new brides to the family.
