Calculating Dates

In the June 30, 2004 ADN Quick Tips, Deborah J. Hollon of Atlanta, Georgia, wrote about a website she uses to calculate deaths and funerals from obituaries.

I use the calendar feature of Family Tree Maker program to find the day of the week for each event. Just set the calendar for the month and year you are interested in.

I have also used the calendar creator in Microsoft Word to print calendars--complete year on one page--for the years I need most often. I keep these printouts in a binder on my computer desk for easy reference.
