One doesnt normally associate American Indians with Bermuda.
However, Indians were impressed as slaves in the 1600s and 1700s and transported
to lands outside of North America. St. Clair "Brinky" Tucker and his
cousin Jean Foggo-Simon both heard family stories about Native American blood
in their veins when growing up on St. David's Island in Bermuda. Together, they
set out to find the link.
The two did indeed find connections. A recent newspaper article
in the Cape Cod (Massachusetts) Times tells of their success although it does
