Ancestry's Red Book, Third Edition
The third edition of Ancestry's Red Book: American State, County, and Town Sources (Salt Lake City: Ancestry, Inc. 1992) will be released in late 2003.

Here is your opportunity to assist in the update and accuracy of the new edition of this classic and important resource for family history researchers. As I have used the Revised Edition on my own, I have come upon occasional typos or small oversights. When this happened, I made a note that it would need to be corrected in the next edition. But even with the help of a couple dozen pairs of eyes, and the experience of as many professionals, we may miss something.

You can help! As you have used the book, you may have come across things that need to be corrected in the next edition. We are most interested in things that are inaccurate, but if there is a resource oversight for a place with which you are very familiar, feel free to send them to us at: redbook@ancestry.com

With your help we are sure that the third edition will be even better than the already exceptional Revised Edition.
