Burke's Peerage & Gentry will be attending the Society of
Genealogists Family History Fair in London on 4-5 May. The company will exhibit
both printed books and their electronic database. Editorial and website staff
will also be on hand to answer questions. Charles Mosley, Editor-in-Chief of
Burke's Peerage & Baronetage, will also be on the stand throughout the weekend.
While not mentioned in Burke’s announcement, I suspect they
will also exhibit their new e-magazine, called ATAVUS. Derived from the Latin
for "ancestor," ATAVUS is a quarterly periodical available to subscribers
of Burke’s online database. This quarterly publication will complement
users’ access to the 5,000+ records which document Britain’s titled
and landed families.
