Tom was the owner of Design Software and produced the computer
programs "Aspen 2000 (Cemetery Funeral Home & Obituary Records)"
and "Genealogy Charts & Forms 5.0." I have written reviews of
both of these products in this newsletter within the past year. Those reviews
are still available at http://www.ancestry.com/library/view/columns/eastman/4618.asp
and at http://www.ancestry.com/library/view/columns/eastman/4521.asp.
Near the end of my article on "Genealogy Charts & Forms"
I wrote, "Tom Waldie of Design Software is to be congratulated on this
nice genealogy utility. I suspect that a lot of genealogists will consider purchasing
Genealogy Charts & Forms Version 5.0."
Sadly, we have lost a very talented genealogy programmer.
