New Ancestry Database Adds Close to 700,000 Records: Tilburg, Netherlands Vital Records, 1811-1940
Located in the southern Dutch province of North Brabant, near the border with Belgium, the city of Tilburg is currently home to over 159,000 people. This collection of databases includes birth, marriage, and death records from Tilburg and the surrounding towns of Oisterwijk, Moergestel, Udenhout, Berkel-Enschot, Loon op Zand, Kaatsehuevel, Hilvarenbeek, Diessen, Goirle, and Riel. The birth records provide information regarding persons born between 1811 and 1902. Most records include individual's name, birth date, birthplace, religion, and parents' names and birth dates. The marriage records include the names of persons wed between 1811 and 1924. Most records provide birth information, marriage date, marriage location, and religion. The death records provide information concerning individuals who died between 1811 and 1940. Most records provide the decedent's name, birth date, birthplace, death date and location, burial date, burial location, religion, and parents' names.
