CW Publishing has a new CD-ROM available: "The History of
the 1st Maine Heavy Artillery." I haven’t seen the new disk yet but
understand that it is an electronic reprint of the book of the same name written
by Horace H. Shaw and Charles J. House in 1903. The press release says, "In
addition to the historical significance of the material, this massive volume
contains personal information for each of the 2200 men who served in the regiment
and well over 120 photographs. In addition, there is a new Introduction by Joseph
G. Bilby.
