Provo, Utah-25 September 2001-MyFamily.com Inc. has appointed Tom Stockham as the company's president and chief executive officer. As the leading media company for uniting families, MyFamily.com helps people connect with their past and with one another through its family history information, premium services and online subscription offerings. MyFamily.com is among the most successful businesses on the Internet with over 450,000 paid subscriptions. In his new role Stockham will be responsible for the direction, overall financial performance, and all operational functions of the company.

Stockham most recently was president of access and emerging markets for Ticketmaster (TMCS), the world's leading ticketing and access company and part of USA Networks Interactive (USAI). In previous roles at Ticketmaster, Stockham was president of online ticketing, which in 2000 generated in excess of $860 million in online ticketing and reservations; vice-president of international development; and general manager of one of the original Citysearch offices. Prior to Ticketmaster, he was a founder and president of Sonic Innovations and was an associate at the Boston Consulting Group. Stockham received his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University.

"We are thrilled to have Tom as the new leader of MyFamily.com. Tom brings a strong background combining business success, proven leadership, and innate talent for building substantial, rapid-growth organizations," said Dave Moon, chairman of MyFamily.com Inc. "We look forward to adding Tom's abilities and direction to a MyFamily.com team that has built one of the most exciting and strongest performing businesses on the Internet."

"MyFamily.com has created a new kind of media company that offers compelling content and services for people to find, preserve, share and extend their family's history, memories and relationships," said Tom Stockham, newly appointed president and CEO of MyFamily.com Inc. "Building on MyFamily.com's recent strong financial performance, I look forward to continuing to grow our subscription base by extending our product and service offerings across our network of sites and publications."

Continually ranking among the top subscription sites on the Internet, in July, MyFamily.com announced the achievement of 400,000 paid subscriptions on its flagship Ancestry.com service. At that same time, the company also announced the completion of a $15 million round of private funding. Since that time the company has begun offering premium subscription to its MyFamily.com site. The company now has a combined total paid subscription base in excess of 450,000 to its Ancestry.com and MyFamily.com online services.
