West Virginia

Recently all West Virginia Death Certificates, 1917-1954, were put online. It's very interesting if you had someone who died in the state. They also have some Births and Marriages on for about five or six counties. It says to check back often because they are adding more.

Don't forget if your family was close in a neighboring state, maybe the doctor, hospital or job was in West Virginia. If they died there it would be recorded there. They are doing a great service, check it out sometime (www.wvculture.org/vrr).
