Karaoke Funeral

A Malaysian coffin-maker got his final wish when his family and friends serenaded his body with some of his favorite old Mandarin and Thai hits from the 1960s and 1970s.

"He had been telling us that his passing away should be celebrated with a karaoke session and merry-making," Teoh Hock Tiam's brother, Hock Weng, told The Star newspaper. "We did not take it seriously until he reminded us about it minutes before he died."

Teoh was treated to a two-hour karaoke session before he was sent on to his cremation, the newspaper reported.
