Search the Ancestry World Tree

To search the Ancestry World Tree, follow the instructions below:

1. Click the Search tab located at the top of the page. The Search page will display.
   
   
2. Click the Search by Record Type link located underneath the Search tab. The Search by Record Type main page will display.
   
   
3. Click the link to Compiled Genealogy in the left column. The Compiled Genealogy main page will display.
   
   
4. Click the link to Ancestry World Tree. The Ancestry World Tree page will display.
   
   
5. In the Search the Ancestry World Tree search box, enter the person's last name in the Last Name field.
   
   
6. Enter the person's first name in the First Name field.
   
   
7. Click the top Search button. The Ancestry World Tree Search Results page will display.
   
   
8. If you have additional information about the person you are searching for, complete the fields in the Advanced Search section located under the Last Name and First Name fields in the Search Ancestry World Tree search box. The advanced search options are:
   
   
   • Birth Date
     
     
   • Birth Place
     
     
   • Death Date
     
     
   • Death Place
     
     
   • Parents
     
     
   • Spouse
     
     
9. Click the bottom Search button. The Ancestry World Tree Search Results page will display.
