Daily News Desk

To access the Daily News Desk, follow the instructions below:

Click the Learn tab located at the top of the page. The Learn@Ancestry.com page will display.
Click The Library link located in the section links. The Library page will display.
Click the Daily News Desk link located in the left navigation bar. The Ancestry Daily News page will display with the daily article.

From the Daily News Desk, you can see archived items by following the instructions below:
1. Click the Archive link located directly below the Ancestry Daily News heading. The Ancestry Daily News archive page will display with listings by date. Note: To view the archive by category, click the Category link located to the right of the Archive by heading.
2. Locate the article you want to view by clicking on the title. The article will display. Note: To access more than the ten articles listed on the page, use the page navigation numbers and the First, Next, Previous, and Last links located at the top and bottom of the page.
You can also access the following areas from the Daily News Desk by clicking a link from the following subtopics located in the left navigation bar:
- Ancestry Quick Tip: This section provides quick and relevant tips on doing genealogy research.
- Thought for Today: Each day a new thought is posted in this section.
- Today's Featured Map: Each day a new map is posted in this section.

Each of the above sections also contains an archive link that allows you to view past articles in chronological order from the respective section.

Notes:

Located at the bottom of each article is a Similar Articles box. To access any of these articles, click on the title.
To send a copy of the article to a friend, click the E-mail to a Friend icon located in the right navigation bar and complete and send the e-mail.
To print a copy of the article, click the Printer Friendly icon located in the right navigation bar and print the article from your browser.
