Logging In
Creating an Ancestry.com Account

To create your Ancestry.com account, follow the instructions below:

1. From the Ancestry.com home page, click the Home navigation tab. The Ancestry.com home page will display.
2. Click the Subscription Plans link located in the section links. A Subscribing to Ancestry page will display.

   Select the plan you want to subscribe to. The plans available are:

   • Preferred Plan
   • Gold Plan
   • Quarterly Plan
     
     
3. In the Member Information field, enter the username and password you want to use to access your Ancestry.com account. Note: If you already have a username and password, click the link I already have an Ancestry.com username and password! and then enter your existing username and password.
   
   
4. Click the OK, On To Step Two link. A subscription page will display.
   
   
5. Enter your personal account information in the General Information section.
   
   
6. Enter the required information for your payment type in the Payment Information section.
   
   
7. Click the boxes for the information you want to receive in the Free Information to Help You Build Your Family Tree section. If you do not want to receive the information listed, click in the box until the check mark does not display.
   
   
8. Click the OK Submit My Order button. A confirmation page will display.
   
   
9. Print the confirmation page by clicking the Print button on your browser tool bar. This way you will have a record of your username and password.
   
   
10. Click the See What's New at Today@Ancestry link. The Today@Ancestry page will display.
