Genealogy Network
To learn about the Genealogy Network, follow the instructions below:
- Click the Learn tab located at the top of the page. The Learn@Ancestry.com
page will display.
- Click the Learning Center link located in the section links. The
Learning Center page will display.
- Click the Genealogy Network link located in the left navigation
bar. The Societies page will display.
- Click the genealogy group you want to know more about from the following
list located in the left navigation bar:
- Societies: There are many genealogical societies on the local level
that provide support groups for hobby genealogists. This section gives information
on how you can find out more about these societies.
- Professional Groups: There are several professional genealogy groups
across the nation that serve the needs of the more serious genealogist.
This section provides contact information for these groups.
- Repositories: There are many libraries, archives, and societies
that have extensive collections of genealogical research materials. This
section provides information on how to locate these repositories of genealogy
information.
- LDS Family History Libraries: The Family History Library has information
on hundreds of millions of deceased individuals. The library and all of
its satellite libraries (Family History Centers TM) located throughout the
world are available to anyone who wants to research their family history.
