Cancellations and Refunds.

Cancellations of package offers may be made by calling 1-800-958-9124 and providing the same information that you provided when you placed your order.

 

If you want to cancel the package within the first 30 days of placing your order, and before you return a DNA sample to AncestryDNA, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $25. 

 

If you cancel the package within the first 30 days of placing your order but after you have returned a DNA sample, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $50.

 

If you wish to cancel just the AncestryDNA testing service within the first 30 days of placing your order, and before you return a DNA sample to AncestryDNA, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $25 and minus the price for the standard Ancestry.com subscription you ordered as part of the package.

 

If you wish to cancel just the AncestryDNA testing service within the first 30 days of placing your order but after you have returned a DNA sample, you will receive a refund equal to the price of the package you purchased minus $50 and minus the price for the standard Ancestry.com subscription you ordered as part of the package.  AncestryDNA does not refund shipping & processing charges.

 

If you wish to cancel just the Ancestry.com subscription within the first 30 days of placing your order, you will receive a refund equal to the price paid for package minus the cost of the DNA testing service if purchased separately. 

 

If you cancel after the first 30 days, you will not receive a refund for the package or any portion thereof.

 

For all renewals of the Ancestry.com subscription, you may cancel within seven days of the renewal date and receive a full refund.

 

If you cancel your subscription but are not eligible for a refund, you will retain access to the website until your subscription expires.

 

Your cancellation must be received by end of business (5:00 p.m. Mountain Time) on the appropriate day as described above.  All refunds will be given to the original credit card on which the purchase was made.  Please allow a reasonable time for the refund to reach you or be charged back to your account.
